Membership

Membership means something here.

Members are "all in." They celebrate. They connect. They contribute. Our members are the core of Cornerstone; they shape the character and ethos of this local church family.

By becoming a member, you are making a greater expression of commitment and "followership" to the vision, goals and leadership of Cornerstone, and, at the same time, the pastoral staff and elders can better care for and disciple you. One example of this is that the elders pray for you on a regular basis. Membership also allows you to take part in the decision-making process of the church by giving you voting status. Proposals to church by-laws, budget and other issues are often subject to the church membership approval (voting majority).

As a member, you are also committing to contribute your time, talents and resources to the Cornerstone Church body. There are many areas to get involved in where you can best use your gifts to help Cornerstone and to glorify God.

To pursue membership, sign up for our Intro to Cornerstone class. It's required to be considered for membership. If you've already taken the class and need the application for membership, you can pick one up at Info Central (in the main foyer) during weekend services or at the church office during the week. Or, download the application here.

New members are approved by the elders or their delegated representatives.
