Technical

All things wired (and wireless).

Technical

The technical arts team works hard to make the musicians, as well as the actors and teachers, look and sound great during our weekly services and many other special events. If you enjoy serving "behind the scenes," then this may be a place for you to get involved.

Opportunities for Technical Artists

Audio | Simply stated, our sound team amplifies what our musicians, actors and teachers present from the stage. Our sound operators, known as Front of House 1 (FOH 1) and Front of House 2 (FOH 2), not only know how to run the equipment, they understand how to make everyone sound good.

Stage | Our stage managers assist those participating on and off the stage (musicians, actors, teachers, sound & light operators), and give oversight to the general condition of the auditorium and stage. Stage managers work hand-in-hand with the front of house sound operator, which offers a great training atmosphere to be a future sound operator.

Lighting | Cornerstone's lighting team helps with the hanging and focusing of stage lights as well as programming cues. This area of the technical arts ministry requires the least amount of time and is subject to the ebb and flow of our arts events.

Graphics | Projected lyrics and graphics are used in almost every large gathering at Cornerstone. Our computer graphics (CG) operators use a program called ProPresenter to display song lyrics, Bible text and graphics on the main screens. CG operators must be able to lead with the worship leader and possess basic computer skills.

Video | Our live video team consists of directors, switchers and camera operators who record and distribute a video feed for our live events. You can read more about the individual roles on our video page.
