There are more than 2,400 international students from over 100 different countries currently studying at Iowa State University. Many of these students have never heard the Gospel. With the help of people like you, these internationals may hear for the first time about Jesus, come to know the God who created them, and have their lives radically changed forever.
The International Friendship Connection (IFC) seeks to introduce international students to Jesus Christ, bring them to a saving faith in Him through the power of the Holy Spirit, help them to grow to spiritual maturity, and equip them to spread the gospel throughout the world.
IFC is an official Iowa State University student organization that is sponsored by Cornerstone Church of Ames. We are a fellowship of international Christians and friends who seek to serve and support international students, scholars and their families. We want to welcome internationals to Iowa, help them feel like Ames is their “home away from home,” and introduce them to Jesus.
We are looking to the future with great hope and anticipation. It is our earnest prayer that many people like you will come to share our passion and commitment to make the name of Jesus known throughout the world by making it known here at home.
IFC is a place where you can meet people from many different countries, develop lasting friendships, and make an eternal impact.
